LEGACY: The History of the Petroleum Club

The importance of the Petroleum Club of Houston, a historic private dining and business club, can be linked to the evolution of the energy industry and the professional community where business deals continue to be sealed with a handshake and integrity since its foundation in 1946. The growth of the club has led to its transition between 3 lofty perches overlooking the streets of downtown Houston, beginning in the top floors of the Rice Hotel followed by the ExxonMobil Building into its new home at the top floor of the Total Building. The Petroleum Club of Houston continues to reflect the current state of the energy industry as an international destination with elegance and increasing diversity. A new documentary is in development by producers Magan M. Hunt and Lynn Birdwell.
